ADMINISTRATOR - a) A person appointed
by a court to administer the estate of a person who
has died without leaving a will, or where the appointed
executor is unable or unwilling to perform the task;
b) a person appointed by a regulatory authority in
certain circumstances to take charge of the affairs
of a company or financial institution in place of
the Board of Directors. (See also Liquidator, Receiver);
or c) in relation to superannuation funds, the individual
or company responsible for the day to day operation
of the fund.
